WHAT IS RACE SD?

Inspired by the Amazing Race, Race SD is a one day adventure hunt competition where teams of two will race around the greater San Diego area visiting scenic locations and completing challenges in the hope to be the first team to finish. Whether participants are racing through the museums at Balboa Park, discovering new statues at the Presidio, or snorkeling with sharks in La Jolla, RACE SD provides an unforgettable day of adventure.

RACE SD is designed and created by Danny Butler who was on Season 36 of the actual Amazing Race. Butler has been designing Amazing Race styled competitions since he was 8 and has now brought it to his home in San Diego. There has since been 3 seasons of RACE SD, and now we are looking for the next group of competitors.  San Diego is waiting for you to tackle the race one clue at a time!

"It felt like I was on the actual show, the energy, the production value, the hype, I would do this again tomorrow"
